lyrics
Six moons stood pale, whispering
They spoke of my fate
Life betrayed
Hollow became
Night returned
Innocence succumbed to terminal shame
Death be swift
The world slept below
Slumber crestfallen souls
Cursed awake
There upon a fool’s throne in splendor
The lying ones
They speak of joy and follow dying suns
To a place unsullied
Towards the dawn
And suffer there
I only hear the song
Of an angel unwanted
Six moon stood pale
They laughed of failures
And born from pain
New fury arising
The lying ones
They speak of joy and follow dying suns
To a place unsullied
Towards the dawn
And suffer there
I only hear the song
Of an angel unwanted

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal

I've waited decades to hear something that moved me like this. it's even better than most of the Gothenburg bands that inspired it. flawless album, moved me to tears. wrestingmayhem
These California up-and-comers don't merely pay tribute to ’90s death metal; they make it their own by taking charge and letting it rip. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 21, 2024

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
